I received tons of comment related to VNR problem, while managed to replicate some of these myself.
Some problems can be fixed, some r not. Bohoo...
Nonetheless, here are the list that hopefully can help you during your VN journey.
- Unable to launch VNR or VNR not loading even though blue arrow is there!
Suspect: When you add Japanese games in VNR Springboard for the 1st time.
Solution: Install Locale-Emulator Thank you Anzulove
- Google Translator not working inside VNR!!!
Suspect: Google limit for auto-translation that linked to their API.
Solution: Manual copy-paste into browser or use this Clipboard AutoTranslator to paste it automatically for you~ Thanks to Mi_Tereshenko
- Aniclan website login took soooo long for approval, I'm getting old, halp!
Suspect: Still on the run~
Solution: This is waiting game tho. Aniclan don't send confirmation email and you can only login directly once it was approved. Ask your friends ID & Pass!
- Translation in VNR for this Japanese VN didn't work while it works before!
Suspect: Still on the run~
Solution: Try using VPN/different network.
- No Japanese Text appear from VNR
Suspect: VNR TextHook not powerful enough LOL
Solution: There are many alternative to VNR out there like Visual Novel Translater, Visual Novel OCR, Textractor and many more. Hope you can find one to your liking!
